Nafkot Admasu, an inspiring and dedicated female coffee producer, owns and operates her farm and processing station, contributing to the vibrant coffee landscape of Idido, Yirgacheffe. Spanning 0.5 hectares at an elevation of 2150 masl, this unique environment serves as the backdrop for cultivating exceptional heirloom coffee beans, known for their distinct and nuanced flavours. The cherries are meticulously handpicked, before following a natural dry processing approach which allows the coffee to sun-dry over 12-15 days.
Nafkot's impact reaches beyond her farm as she is an active participant in the "Ama Commitment" scheme. This initiative underscores her commitment to economic and social process within her community.
